We can deliver web pages and files at great speed to your visitors. Try out the following tests below to see the potential connection speeds for your website.

Test bandwidth speed and connectivity

1 MB (recommended for 56k Dialup) Download
5 MB (recommended for 512kb Broadband) Download
10 MB (recommended for 1 Mb or higher Broadband) Download

Note: Our download test transmits an incompressible block of random binary data. The files are totally useless therefore please delete them once they have downloaded.

Bandwidth measurement vary at different times, the bandwidth speed will be limited by your internet connection speed.

Ping test

You can test the response time of our servers by sending a small packet of data to and from our servers.
Go to the Windows Start Bar, click Run
(Or hold the Windows button and press 'R')
At the run prompt type
cmd
A black screen with a command promt should open.
Type
ping www.itglobaldynamics.com and press enter.

This will give you a low, high, and average round trip time (RTT) value. The RTT is the time in milliseconds for a 'ping' packet to travel from your computer to the site and back again. You can test any URL this way.

Trace route test

Go to the Windows Start Bar, click Run (Or hold the Windows button and press 'R')
At the run prompt type
cmd
A black screen with a command promt should open
Type
tracert www.itglobaldynamics.com and press enter.

You will see a list of all the routers between your computer and our server, along with three sample RTTs for each router. The less routers or "hops" between your computer and our servers the better.
